How are tickets distributed for Wales home fixtures at Principality Stadium?

As stated in the constitution of the Welsh Rugby Union, WRU member rugby clubs and Debenture holders have the first refusal on tickets. Should rugby clubs and Debenture holders take their full allocation of tickets, the stadium will be full and the fixture will be sold out. After this allocation process, any remaining tickets will be distributed to WRU Supporters Club members, followed by a general sale.

How can I purchase tickets for Wales home fixtures?

For Wales home fixtures, tickets can be purchased via the following channels:
- Online via our E-Ticketing website (https://www.eticketing.co.uk/principalitystadium/), you will need to login with an existing email address and password or create a new account
- Calling the WRU Ticket Line on 0844 847 1881 and pressing option 1 for ticket sales. Please note that calls to this number cost 7ppm plus your phone company’s access charge.
- In person at the Ticket Office in the WRU Store on Westgate Street, Cardiff

Where is the Ticket Office?

The Welsh Rugby Union Ticket Office is located in the WRU Store Stadium on Westgate Street. The Ticket Office is open Monday-Saturday between 09.30am - 5.30pm and is closed on Sundays. On event days, the ticket office is open from 9.30am and will close at half-time of WRU home international fixtures. For third party events, opening times may vary.

The fixture that I would like to purchase tickets for is sold-out via the WRU website, how else can I get tickets?

Seatwave is the official resale partner of the Welsh Rugby Union, meaning that tickets can be resold by supporters for Welsh International home fixtures. All tickets listed for sale on Seatwave have been verified as valid tickets by the WRU Ticket Office so supporters are able to safely purchase tickets with the knowledge that their tickets are guaranteed, which is not the case with other unofficial secondary market ticket providers.

How can I purchase tickets for away fixtures?

It is not possible to purchase tickets for away fixtures directly from the WRU. For supporters who wish to obtain tickets for these fixtures, the best way to try to secure tickets is to contact a local WRU member rugby club, Gullivers Sports Travel (official travel partner of the WRU) or the host nation directly as this is where the majority of tickets are allocated.

Who qualifies for a concessionary ticket?

Concession tickets are only applicable to children who will be aged 16 or under on the day of the fixture. As concession tickets are not available for all fixtures, please contact the WRU Customer Care Team via email to customercare@wru.wales who can then inform if any concessions or other offers are available.

I am purchasing tickets as a gift and I will not be attending, does it matter that my name is on the tickets?

No, this is not a problem at all. Photo ID is only required when collecting tickets from the Ticket Office on the day of the fixture or event

When ordering tickets online, can I choose a different delivery address to the billing address on my card?

It is not possible to specify a different address when purchasing tickets online. Tickets will be posted to the address that is registered on your E-Ticketing account so please ensure that the address on your account is correct and is where you would like the tickets to be sent

Existing Orders

When will I receive my tickets?

The Welsh Rugby Union aims to dispatch all tickets as soon as possible, but in some cases, tickets will not be sent until closer to the event. In any event, you will receive your tickets no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. We are not always able to be specific with exact delivery dates, so please allow as much time as possible for your tickets to arrive.

If you have not received your tickets 2 weeks before the event, please send an email to customercare@wru.wales Please include your membership number, full name, postcode the booking was made under and a contact telephone number

I have opted to receive my tickets by post, can these be sent to me by email instead?

We are unable to change the delivery method once the booking has been made. As a result, tickets will be sent in the post to the address specified

Will I need to sign for the tickets upon delivery?

This will depend of the method of delivery that was chosen when purchasing the tickets. The following delivery options are available when booking tickets:
Standard first class - £3 per booking (no signature required on delivery)
Special delivery - £6.00 per booking (signature required)
Overseas delivery - £8 per booking (for deliveries outside of the UK – no signature required)

If the ‘Print at Home’ delivery option is selected, a PDF ticket will be sent via email to the email address that is registered to the E-Ticketing account used to complete the transaction.

I have purchased tickets online but the address on my account is incorrect, what can I do?

In order to ensure that your tickets are posted to the correct address, you will need to login to the E-Ticketing account that was used to purchase the tickets and update your address by using the following steps:
- Go to ‘My account’
- Choose ‘Update details’
- Once the address has been amended, click ‘Save details’

Should you wish to confirm that your address has been updated successfully, please email the WRU Customer Care Team on customercare@wru.wales

I have deleted the email confirmation of my purchase, what can I do?

It is possible to resend email confirmation for your purchase using your online account. Once logged into your E-Ticketing account, you will need to use the following steps:
- Go to ‘My account’
- Go to ‘Account history’
- All transactions made with your online account will be shown, you will need to choose the specific transaction and press ‘Resend’
- This will then forward a copy of the email confirmation to the email address that is registered on the E-Ticketing account

I have purchased tickets for a fixture but can no longer attend, can I have a refund?

We are unable to exchange, transfer or refund tickets once purchased. This is stated in our ticketing terms and conditions which are agreed to when purchasing tickets. However, supporters are able to resell their tickets (subject to verification by the WRU Ticket Office) via Seatave, the WRU’s official resale partner.

Print at Home Tickets

I have ordered tickets and have selected the ‘Print at Home’ option, what do I need to bring with me on the day of the game?

After ordering tickets using this delivery method, 2 separate emails will be sent to your email address, the first of which will be an email confirmation of your order and the second will be a PDF attachment containing your E-Tickets. You will need to print off your E-Tickets and present them to a steward at the gate to gain entry to the stadium.

I have selected to print my tickets at home but haven’t received a PDF attachment with my tickets, what should I do?

It is possible to resend your E-Tickets using your online account. Once logged into your E-Ticketing account, you will need to use the following steps:
- Go to ‘My account’
- Go to ‘Account history’
- All transactions made with your online account will be shown, you will need to choose the specific transaction and press ‘Resend’

This will then forward a copy of the email confirmation and PDF attachment with your E-Tickets to the email address that is registered on the E-Ticketing account.
